We are a multidisciplinary research group exploring the potential for ubiquitous computing technologies to improve daily life. We draw our expertise from the areas of Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Communication, Computer Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Visual Arts. We invent, build, deploy, and assess novel technologies and applications with the goal of understanding how they mold human experience.
The UCSD@UCSD research group meetings are shared with the Distributed Cognition and Human Computer Interaction Lab and the DesignLab at UCSD. We typically discuss new ideas and emerging project in the broad setting of ubiquitous computing.
